Emily Schultz is an award-winning writer and editor living in Toronto. Her first book, Black Coffee Night, was shortlisted for the Danuta Gleed Award for Best First Fiction in Canada. Her recent novel, Joyland, received much critical acclaim, and her next novel, Heaven Is Small, is forthcoming from House of Anansi Press. A former editor of both Broken Pencil magazine and This Magazine, she currently teaches short story writing at George Brown College.

Emily Schultz est une auteure primée et éditorialiste vivant à Toronto. Son premier livre, Black Coffee Night, a fait partie des finalistes du Danuta Gleed Award pour la première meilleure œuvre de fiction au Canada. Son récent roman, Joyland, a été couvert d'éloges par la critique et son nouveau roman, Heaven Is Small, sortira prochainement aux éditions House of Anansi Press. Ancienne éditorialiste des magazines Broken Pencil et This Magazine, elle enseigne actuellement l’écriture de nouvelles au Collège George Brown.
