Call For Submissions For The Trillium Book Award

  • Submission Deadline: December 18, 2017 for titles published January – October 2017
  • Submission Deadline: January 29, 2018 for titles published November – December 2017

Submissions for the Trillium Book Award for eligible titles published in 2017 (and 2016 titles for the Trillium Book Award for Poetry in French language only) are now being accepted by the Ontario Media Development Corporation.

The Hand Eye Society recently released a report summarizing some of the findings of the data from the Toronto Videogame Database (TOVGDB). The public database includes information on over 1,000 diverse videogame projects made by gamemakers in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) over the last 20 years. To read the report, click here. Interactive Ontario recently launched its Diversity & Inclusion Toolkit for the Interactive Digital Media Industry, containing top tips and guidance for companies to consider in order to develop a more inclusive and diverse workplace. The toolkit also contains a list of published resources for further reading and to access support and training. To read the report, click here.

OMDC's OAP Training Videos Available Online!

As always, applicants can access OAP training videos for assistance using the application portal. The videos can be found on the Online Application Portal Training Videos page of the OMDC website.

OAP Quick Tip

The Portal Dashboard displays five of the most recent action items by default. To see the full list, click SHOW ALL at the bottom right corner of the Action Items table. You can also remove closed action items from the Dashboard by selecting the HIDE button to the right of the closed items.
