OMDC Interactive Digital Media Fund
Deadline: September 20, 2010 by 5pm
The OMDC Interactive Digital Media (IDM) Fund is designed to provide Ontario interactive digital media content companies with access to the final piece of funding required to move their content projects into production. Successful applicants will receive a non-refundable contribution of up to $150,000 to a maximum of 50% of the project budget to create a market-ready interactive digital media content product.
Complete eligibility requirements are outlined in the OMDC IDM Fund Guidelines.
NOTE: Please read the complete guidelines thoroughly prior to commencing your application. The process for submitting applications is new this year. OMDC has introduced an Online Application Portal (OAP) system and all applications MUST be submitted via the OAP.
Online Application Portal (OAP) re: Application Submissions
• As indicated above, all applications must be submitted via the OMDC Online Application Portal (OAP) system. Applications submitted by any other method will not be accepted.
• As this is a new application process all applicants are strongly encouraged to commence their applications early to allow for enough time should technical difficulties arise and/or assistance is required.
• Prior to commencing an application, your company’s corporate information must be registered. If this has not already been done, you should register as soon as possible by going to: https://apply.omdc.on.ca/.
• If you encounter problems setting up your company’s corporate information, you can email applyhelp@omdc.on.ca for assistance. This email address can also be used for any technical questions you have about the OAP.

Note regarding the Budget, Summary of Related Party Transactions, Financing Plan and Schedule of Minimum Ontario Expenditures Templates:
All documentation must be submitted in industry standard format. Applicants that are ONLY submitting their project to the OMDC IDM Fund are encouraged to use the OMDC IDM Fund Comprehensive Budget Template (listed under “Program Documentation” above) which includes the Budget, Summary of Related Party Transactions, Financing Plan and Schedule of Minimum Ontario Expenditures.
Applicants that are submitting their project for consideration by other funding agencies are welcome to provide their budget on an industry standard budget template that is being used by those agencies. In order to be considered complete ALL budgets must be accompanied by a Summary of Related Party Transactions, a Financing Plan and a Schedule of Minimum Ontario Expenditures. Templates for these documents are attached below for your convenience if required.

Application Process:
1. If you do not have a user account on OAP, please go to https://apply.omdc.on.ca and click on “Register”.
2. If registered, the OMDC Interactive Digital Media Fund program deadline will appear in your dashboard. To start the application, click on “Start new application” and follow the directions through the 5 step wizard to access the application form.
