FilmOntario
FilmOntario is funded by a membership of private sector companies and organizations within the film & television industry in Ontario, representing over 50,000 members and staff, and over $1 billion in economic activity. Our emphasis is on Marketing and Lobbying on behalf of our industry.On the Marketing front, they are pleased to be working in co-operation with the Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) and the Toronto Film and Television Office (TFTO) to ensure there is one strong voice promoting Ontario as a world class film and television production center. To that end they have co-financed a full time marketing staff in Los Angeles, along with marketing financing. As well, they develop Ontario film and television marketing materials as a team.
On the Lobbying front, they work closely with all levels of government (Municipal, Provincial and Federal) to ensure that the various government policies and programmes support and enhance our vibrant industry.
