Call For Submissions For The Trillium Book Award

Submission deadline: December 16, 2016 – for titles published between January and October 2016

Submission deadline: January 30, 2017 – for titles published in November and December 2016

Submissions for the Trillium Book Award for eligible titles published in 2016 (and 2015 titles for the Trillium Book Award for Children’s Literature in French language only) are now being accepted by the Ontario Media Development Corporation.

OMDC Research Deadlines

OMDC offers financial support directly to incorporated not-for-profit industry organizations undertaking research initiatives that support or complement the mandate of OMDC. Full eligibility requirements and guidelines are outlined in the OMDC Research Grant Guidelines.

As always applicants can access OAP training videos for assistance using the application portal. The videos can be found on the Online Application Portal Training Videos page of the OMDC website.

OMDC’s Team Culture Shock Climbs The CN Tower for United Way!

OMDC Team Culture Shock –Mark Watts, Ivonete de Sousa, Vanessa Tam, Claudia Caravaggio, Michiyo Ishizaki, Noah Gruneir, Paritosh Mehta, Matt Hilliard-Forde, Erin Creasey, Patrick Dervin, Rick Mazza and Andy Shin. OMDC is proud to support the United Way during our workplace campaign, running through November 30. Team “OMDC Culture Shock” kicked off our fundraising efforts by climbing over (1,776) steps during the United Way CN Tower Climb on October 23, 2016 raising $5,446 towards our campaign goal of $15,000.
