Super Channel Development Fund

The Super Channel Development Fund is open and accepting applications for its fourth round of development financing. The next deadline will be March 27, 2015. Visit www.superchannel.ca/producers for further information.

The Pixel Lab 2015 is now accepting applications!

The Pixel Lab is now open! Selecting up to 20 producers with a project and 20 media professionals without from anywhere in the world (new to 2015!), The Pixel Lab equips participants with an unrivalled understanding of how to engage audiences, utilise emerging technologies and interactivity to expand IP and brands over multiple platforms, and how to find new sources of finance.

Workshop One: 28 June - 4 July, Scotland
All participants will receive project-focused mentoring and tutorials from the likes of:

Workshop Two: July - September, distance mentoring
Participants attending with a project receive three months of distance mentoring on developing the finance strategy, audience and brand of their project with Sean Coleman, PttP's Project Director.

Workshop Three: 12 - 15 October, London
Participants attending with a project pitch their idea and engage in a series of 1-2-1 business meetings with representatives from companies such as ARTE France; Arts Council England; BBC; Bell Fund; BFI; British Council; BuzzFeed; Canada Media Fund; CBBC; Channel 4; CNC; Dazed & Confused; DFI; Egmont UK; France Télévisions; Gaité Lyrique; Hypernaked; McCann; MFG; MEDIA; MediaCom Beyond Advertising; Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg; NFB Canada; Nordisk Film & TV Fond; OMDC; Penguin Books; RTVE; SODEC; The Guardian; The Harmony Institute; Tate Media; Telefilm Canada; TorinoFilmLab; Tribeca Film Institute; VICE; Vimeo; Wallimage and ZDF.

Ontario Mission to NAB 2015, Media/Entertainment, Las Vegas

April 13-16, 2015: For the first time, the Government of Ontario invites you to be part of the Ontario trade mission to the National Association of Broadcasters 2015 (www.nabshow.com). NAB is the world's largest electronic media show covering filmed entertainment and the development, management and delivery of content across all mediums. It attracts more than 93,000 attendees from 156 countries and 1,550 exhibitors. The program is open to twelve Ontario-based companies. Priority registration for first time participants in an Ontario mission. Benefits include turn-key exhibit space in the award-winning Ontario Pavilion (South Upper Hall # SU9125) located at a main entrance, a program targeting potential clients, databases of local and international contacts and networking activities, and two exhibitor passes per company.
