Celebrating Literary Excellence by Ontario Authors at The 2014 Trillium Book Award!

OMDC is proud to present the Trillium Book Award Ontario's premiere prize in literature celebrating our province's diverse writing talent for over 25 years. Established to honour excellence in prose and poetry in both of Canada's official languages, the award is open to books in any genre.

On June 17, 2014, OMDC’s President and CEO, Karen Thorne-Stone, OMDC Board Chair, Kevin Shea, and emcee CBC's Heather Hiscox hosted the award ceremony where Kevin Finnerty, Assistant Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports celebrated Ontario’s wealth of literary talent and announced the 2014 Trillium Book Award winners.
