Celebrating Literary Excellence – Congratulations to Ontario's 2013 Trillium Award Winners!

OMDC is proud to present the Trillium Book Award Ontario's premiere prize in literature celebrating our province's diverse writing talent for over 25 years. Established to honour excellence in prose and poetry in both of Canada's official languages, the award is open to books in any genre. This has meant a rich, diverse range of fiction and non-fiction titles have appeared on the yearly shortlist. This year is no different.


On June 18, 2013, OMDC’s President and CEO, Karen Thorne-Stone, OMDC Board Chair, Kevin Shea, emcee CBC's Mark Kelley hosted the award ceremony where Michael Chan Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports celebrated Ontario’s wealth of Literary talent and announced the 2013 Trillium Book Award winners.
