OMDC-Supported Event: GameOn Finance

Ontario is home to an explosion of innovative emerging game studios. Interactive Ontario is offering a special Startup Rate in order to ensure those companies are able to benefit from the knowledge sharing and networking offered at GameON: Finance. If your company:

  • is less than two years old
  • makes less than $250,000 in annual revenue
  • has less than five employees
  • and has not previously attended GameON: Finance on a Startup Pass

you may qualify for this heavily discounted pass, priced at just $199. Hear from speakers from Rovio, SuperData Research, iNK Stories, DrinkBox Studios, DHX Media, Digital Extremes and many more at this year's conference on November 20 & 21 in Toronto.

Submit your application by filling out the application form. Interactive Ontario will review your submission and notify you if you have been approved for a Startup Pass. Only a small number of Startup Passes are available and will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis.

OMDC Supported Event: The 5th Annual Canadian Videogame Awards

The 5th Annual Canadian Videogame Awards ceremony will celebrate Canada’s spot on the world stage as a leader in interactive entertainment. The awards will be held at the beautiful Carlu in downtown Toronto on November 21, 2014.

Celebrated videogame actor Mark Meer, from the Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises, will host the awards, and presenters will include representatives from game developers and publishers across the country.
