The mobile database is specifically designed to use anywhere, whether users are in the office or out in the field, and will engage users with mobile-specific features and an optimal experience. Users will be able to conduct full searches, view location files and photos, view packages, link to Google Street View and Maps, as well as easily click to call/email location contacts. Additionally, they will be able to access a number of specialized components of the Location Database including personal Bankers Boxes, Short Term Location Listings, Research documents and In the Loop newsletters. OMDC-Supported Research

Two research studies funded by OMDC Research Grants have been released recently. The Screen Composers Guild of Canada examined the Canadian screen composing industry, including its structure, business models, revenue sources and expenditures as well as industry trends and challenges. This is the first known study to examine the work of professional composers for English screen productions. Baseline Study of the Membership and Industry of the Screen Composers Guild of Canada can be accessed here. Interactive Ontario has released a report on international co-production for digital media content. The study provides Canadian producers of interactive digital media and convergent properties with practical advice on how to find international co-production partners. The guide includes detailed information on key players and financing opportunities in six jurisdictions. Read International Digital Media Co-production: A Guide for Canadian Producers here.
