OMDC congratulates OMDC-supported nominees Azure and Cottage Life for their Magazine of the Year nominations at the National Magazine Awards. Other OMDC-supported nominees include Corporate Knights (last year’s Magazine of the Year), This, The United Church Observer and Listed. Pixels Filming in Toronto!

OMDC is pleased to report that Toronto/Ontario will be hosting Sony/Happy Madison Production’s big-budget feature Pixels, with director Chris Columbus at the helm (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Home Alone). The story revolves around video game experts who are recruited by the government when popular 80’s video game characters attack New York City. Adam Sandler is producing and will star alongside Kevin James and Josh Gad; shooting at Pinewood Studios, and in and around Toronto from early June to mid-September 2014.
